1 day event, Sunday 5th August will be scheduled as above. We will amalgamate classed if insufficient entries. Test remain the same

Class 6-Multiple (Horses and Ponies)

Class 7- Dressage and Cones Only. Test Pre Novice 08. Open to GWHC & BDS members only    

Arena 80 x 40 – Cones will be driven straight after dressage test. Arrivals on site Friday, unless by prior arrangement. Ring for time Wednesday evening before event. The obstacles will be open to walk from 2pm Saturday. Homemade refreshments available throughout the weekend. Event Rules Organisers decision is final. Neither the organising committee of any horse driving trials to which these rules apply nor the British Horse Driving Trial Association, nor landowner, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, save for the death or personal injury caused by negligence or the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, drivers, grooms, spectators, land or any other way whatsoever. ALL horseboxes, trailers and caravans must carry a fire extinguisher, minimum 1kg. DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIME FROM ARRIVAL. Health and Safety: The organisers of this event have taken precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all responsible precautions to avoid and prevent accident’s occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers officials and stewards. This event is run under rules of the Great Western Harness Club, and the completion of the entry form will be interpreted as your acknowledge and acceptance of those rules. Copies have been circulated to all members from the Club Secretary. All entrants must be present themselves for a health and safety check 5minutes before start time at the start of Section A

Possible vacancy for a trainee/NVQ Level 2 Apprentice, full time/part time. In house training with highly qualified staff, train towards NVQ qualification getting on hands experience on a very versatile yard or alternatively training towards BHS Stages.

We are currently looking to take on a working pupil. This is a great oppurtunity to train in a beautiful part of Devon. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic person to join our friendly, well established riding school/livery/competition yard. Regular training from highly qualified staff for BHS Levels, Pony Club exams etc.

Horse Riding, Pony Club and Carriage Driving

Gail and ChesterWe have a full range of equine services and facilities at Easter Hall Park including full or part-time livery, riding lessons, breaking and training. Our large outdoor schooling area has an all weather surface for flat-work and jumping and we also have a smaller indoor area. For those interested in carriage driving, we can offer lessons in the basics and the opportunity to improve driving skills around our obstacle course. All riding lessons are given by our British Horse Society qualified instructors.

Easterhall Park is also a Pony Club Centre, educating riders under the age of 25 years while having fun safely, with or without their own pony and at low cost.
