Zsa Zsa is a black well breed Dartmoor mare of 12 years old. She is 12.2hh and is easy to handle and very good in traffic. She is an ideal first pony/pony club mare. Zsa Zsa loves to jump and is very friendly.

Talula is an elegant and attractive 13.1hh 10 year old dark bay riding pony. She is a forward but sensible ride and would be suitable for a competent child or small adult. She is a friendly and easy to handle pony who has breed some nice foals.

A handsome 4yr old 16hh bay thoroughbred gelding by Bandmaster. Bacchus has a good temperament and nice paces. He has been broken to ride and is now ready to be brought on. His lovely laidback nature means that he loves people and really enjoys his work.

Hatherleigh

Hatherleigh is a place apart - an ancient Market Town of cob and thatch cottages situated in heart of rural Devon, near to Petrockstow.

Ruby Run Half Marathon. 2nd Sunday in June. Held between Hatherleigh and Holsworthy.

Hatherleigh Arts Festival. Mid July. Four days of contemporary arts, including theatre, concerts and art exhibitions, street theatre and workshops.

Hatherleigh Carnival. 2nd Saturday in November. The flaming tar barrels are pulled through the streets at 5am and 8:30pm and there are events and parties throughout the day.

Holidays

Easter Hall Park is an ideal base for your holiday in Devon as we are centrally located near the A386 and within easy reach of Dartmoor, Exmoor and some of Devon’s best beaches. We offer self-catering holiday accommodation in our 300 year old barn, equine B&B and activities centred around our riding stables and livery. We have a private access on to the Torrington to Meeth section of the Tarka Trail and guests are welcome to walk around our 200 acre farm and woodland.

Horse Riding and Carriage Driving

We have a full range of equine services and facilities at Easter Hall Park including full or part-time livery, riding lessons, breaking and training. Our large outdoor schooling area has an all weather surface for flat-work and jumping and we also have a smaller indoor area. For those interested in carriage driving, we can offer lessons in the basics and the opportunity to improve driving skills around our obstacle course. All riding lessons are given by our British Horse Society qualified instructors.

Woodland Products

Canada Wood is our own sustainably managed woodland from which, Canada Wood Products source materials for hand built Canadian style log buildings and smaller products such as, picnic tables, garden furniture and cedar roofing shingles. Holiday can enjoy the tranquil surroundings and direct access to the Tarka Trail.
