Pony Club Returns!!!!!!

Pony Club starts again Saturday 10th September!! Open to all Pony Club members, fun filled afternoons learning all about stable management all about how to care for and handle your ponies and optional ride in the afternoon also at an extra cost. Chances to earn badges working towards your pony care and riding. Non Pony Club members are more than welcome to come along for an afternoon to see what its all about and for information on how to join. Look forward to seeing everyone!
Pleasure Ride

Enjoy approx 8 miles of fields, woodland and Tarka Trail, optional XC jumps of different heights and minimal roadwork. Refreshments available at friendly cafe where live folk music will be played throut most of the day at the half way point. There will be stewards throughout the route, we ask riders to be courteous to other users.
£8 for 8 mile- Green Ribbon Route
£ for 3 mile- Blue Ribbon Route
Entries closing date 1st August, Cheques made payable to Easter Hall Park. Entries must include a large SAE for us to return your number and time. Any groups riders wishing to ride together must send all entries n the same envelope.

Number on day 07982657960/ 01837 810 350. Children under the ae of 12 years must be accompanied by a onsible adult. Horses must be 4 years and over. All riders must wear a riding hat at all times when mounted. All dogs kept on lead. Water is available on site and half way stop. Riders wishing to stop at the cafe, must supply their own equipment to tie the horse up with. Rosettes to all on completion.
There is a time limit of 30 minutes at the cafe to avoid congestion.

Class 2 – Novice Pony – Test Novice 08
Class 3 – Novice Horse - Test Novice 08
We will amalgamate classes 1-3 if insufficient entries.

Class 4 – Open Pony – BHDTA No. Novice 08
Class 5 – Open Horse -BHDTA No. Novice 08
Class 6 – Multiple (Horses and Ponies)
Class 7 – Dressage and Cones Only. Open to GWHC & BDS
members only
Arena 80 x 40 – Cones will be driven straight after dressage test
Arrivals on site Friday, unless by prior arrangement.
Ring for times Wednesday evening before event
The obstacles will be open to walk from 2pm Saturday
Home Made Refreshments available throughout the weekend

Event Rules
1. Organisers decision is final
2. Neither the organising committee of any horse driving trials to which these rules apply nor the British Horse Driving Trials Association, nor any landowner, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, save for the death or personal injury caused by negligence or the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, drivers, grooms, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever
3. ALL horseboxes, trailers and caravans must carry a fire extinguisher, minimum 1kg
4. DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES FROM ARRIVAL
5. Health and Safety: The organisers of this event have taken precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers officials and stewards
This event is run under rules of the Great Western Harness Club, and the completion of the entry form will be interpreted as your acknowledgement and acceptance of those rules. Copies have been circulated to all members from the Club Secretary.
6. All entrants must be present themselves for a health and safety check 5 minutes before start time at the start of section A

PONY CAMP 2011

Come along to our infamous annual pony club camp. Arrive on monday 29th august at 4.30 to set up camp.
throughout the week campers will recieve tuition in the mornings and either a hack or some stable management tuition in the afternoon as well as some fun mounted activities. Friday will conclude with a show in the morning and at approx 2.30 campers will tidy up and finish their day. costs as follows
Pony club campers £135
Non pony club campers £145
Day campers £31.50
