We have a full range of equine services and facilities at Easter Hall Park including full or part-time livery, ridding lessons, breaking and training. Our large outdoor schooling area has an all weather surface for flat-work, jumping and carriage driving and we also have a smaller indoor area. Occasionally there are also quality horses and ponies for sale.

Horse Riding

All riding lessons are given by our British Horse Society (BHS) qualified instructors. Providing a high quality, Licensed, Fully Insured riding school and training stables, we specialise in adapting lessons to suit the individual either in small groups or privately. Easter Hall Park is a satellite training centre for the Duchy College and NVQ Registered assessment centre.

Seasonal visitors are welcome to experience the Devon countryside from horseback (A minimum of 24 hours notice will be required for bookings, weight limit of 14 stone) or horse drawn carriage. Carriage driving tuition is one of Nick’s specialities.

There is a varied program of events on offer throughout the year including carriage driving events, ODE, gymkhanas and fun days with special programmes for school holidays, which include own a pony days, shows and Pony Club training. We can accept young riders from 3 years of age.

Carriage Driving

Nick and Gail have enormous experience in the carriage driving arena and are both keen competitors as well as instructors. Between them they offer a range of services related to driving and with affiliation to the Great Western Harness Club they provide assessments and events.

Nick and Gail also offer breaking and starting of horses for driving and lessons in carriage driving as well as:
